Jearlean Taylor — A “Model Survivor”

At the age of 3, Jearlean Taylor was diagnosed with cancer.

The treatment was rough, but being a fighter even at that age, she beat it. Taylor, however, was left with 2 permanent osotmy bags. Today she is a model and advocate for ostomy awareness. Through her book, ‘Pretty Girl Blues,’ she describes her struggle and how she stays positive.

Taking pride in her cause, she is a role model for everyone. Taylor is a part of “Osto Beauties”  — a site about women from different medical backgrounds standing up for awareness.
