Lou Doillon Captivates at The Roxy in Los Angeles

Singer/songwriter Lou Doillon performed for a packed house at The Roxy in Los Angeles on May 9th. The show was opened by pop/alt band Draemings, filling the night with glam pop and jazzy folk.

Doillon kicked off her set with ‘Good Man,’ which led a captivated audience through a journey of songs about love and loss. The French singer/ songwriter and multi-instrumentalist is a true story teller — with her stunning and rich voice, she hypnotizes and holds the audience until the end. Lou is a truly gracious performer who cares deeply for her fans. With such ease on stage, you feel as though you are friends sitting around enjoying an intimate jam session.

After the critical and commercial success of her first album Places, which earned her the French Grammy for Best Female Artist — Lou released her second album Lay Low in October, proving her success wasn’t just a coincidence.

Check out our exclusive interview with Lou — she talks about her new album Lay Low, her thoughts on women in music, and more here.
