You started modeling at a young age, what led you into your journey in fashion?
I started modeling as a young girl at age 18 and was featured in several calendars. I did runway modeling for reputed fashion designers, as well. I also participated in Beauty Pageants which led to the modeling assignments. I had a stint in fashion designing and manufacturing my own fashion label ‘ Lady J’. Always keeping my pulse on fashion styling as a hobby when my children were young & growing up.
What message do you want to send to people?
I want people to know that women can achieve anything they put their minds to. Also, for people to be inspired by me as I was a very busy committed mother to my 4 children, spanning over 25 years. Having triplets with assisted reproduction due to infertility, but I kept focused knowing someday that there would be light at the end of the tunnel. I want people to know my journey back into what I love doing, fashion and modeling. That age is no barrier , if you aim to keep fit , have confidence in yourself and be in touch with the changes in the industry anything is possible.
“We have one life , love it and live it to the fullest!”
Who inspires you?
My inspiration comes from all strong women in the world. Ones who have traveled the path of challenges and shared their journeys so women like myself can in turn become strong.
