An Organized Woman Is A Happy Woman
Nowadays, when women balance more than ever, have more pressures and responsibilities, and feel they have less time, it is no wonder so many women have a yearning to discover the secret to living an organized life.
After working with so many women, I have come to realize they are all looking to attain the same thing. All women want to feel like they have their life in order while feeling beautiful and happy!
Following these tips will lead you to become a happy, confident and organized woman.
1.) Do not be so hard on yourself
Women tend to be so hard on themselves! They feel like they are not accomplishing everything they have to, they need to be in better shape, they need to be a better mom, a better wife, and the list goes on and on. STOP IT! Be proud of yourself for everything you do, and all the things you achieve every single day. Be proud of yourself for managing your household. Take pride in your family and the love and strength you provide them. Be proud of all the hours and hard work you put in at your career, and own the boss lady you are. Sometimes you need to look at your life from an outsider’s perspective and see just how much you do!
2.) Stay active
Find a fitness style that works for you. Stay disciplined and organized and make the time to get it done. Everyone is busy and 24 hours is not changing to 30 hours anytime soon, so you must allocate enough time in the day and week to workout. It is so important to feel strong, confident and healthy! One of the best ways to do that is kicking butt in your workout. Push yourself, and you will see your happiness and confidence rise.
3.) Always say yes to brunch and cappuccinos
All women need their girlfriends. Right? Brunch and cappuccinos are always a good idea, so plan ahead and organize your calendar to fit in hanging out with friends. Many people put this on the bottom of their priority list, or only allow themselves to meet with friends once everything else is done. Change your perspective on this topic, and realize that by staying organized and fitting in time with your girlfriends, you are making time for something that brings you happiness, and that is something to be proud of!
4.) An organized home is a happy home
Does your home have to look like it came out of a magazine? Even as someone who loves everything perfect, my answer to that is no. However, having a clean, tidy, and organized home is very important. Depending on what works best for you, schedule in time to keep your house in order. You can tidy up the house for 8 minutes every day before bed, or you can dedicate Sunday as “Organizing Day.” Whatever works best for you, keeping your home organized should be at the very top of your list. It influences everything else, especially your stress level and happiness. Your home is your sanctuary, and should be filled with beauty, love, memories and happiness.
5.) Make your goals a priority
Whether you want to achieve a promotion at work, master that pull up, or finish the family scrapbook, organize your time so you can work on your goals. Accomplishing a goal makes you feel alive! Women have to balance so many things, but fitting in time for the goals that matter to you should be of utmost importance.
6.) Discover what brings you happiness
You often hear the quote, “The best accessory a woman can have is her smile.” When a woman radiates happiness, she glows and her beauty shines. Take the time to think about what makes you happy, and decide how you can fit them in your schedule. Sitting down and writing a list of what makes you happy is the first step! Do you love running? Do you love to bake? Organize these things into your weekly schedule. So often people do not take the time to discover what brings them happiness. Once you are aware of these things, you need to stay organized and find a place for them in your life and in your schedule.
7.) Plan date nights with the one you love
Your relationship should be one of your greatest sources of joy and happiness. Stay organized by planning a date night! If you stay on top of this, and have date nights planned for every month, your relationship will continue to grow, strengthen and be filled with love. However, it is easy to stop planning and that is when weeks go by and you haven’t had any quality time together. Stay organized, and plan your best date night!
8.) Know you are blessed
Be thankful for all the good you have in your life. An organized woman takes the time to show gratitude for all the blessings she has.
9.) Be your best
Wake up every day, and be the best you can be! Most importantly, realize THAT IS ENOUGH!
