Tiffany & Co. just introduced its latest celebrity face to star in the iconic jewelry company’s newest ad campaign. And it’s none other than Lady Gaga, an artist of iconic status herself. Lady Gaga will be featured in what is apparently the brand’s first-ever Super Bowl commercial this Sunday.
Lady Gaga will also appear again during the Super Bowl as the halftime performer. The commercial, shot completely in black and white, echoes back to a time of old Hollywood glamour, fitting for the brand and Lady Gaga. Short and sweet, the clip features the singer speaking about her own views on creativity while wearing Tiffany’s latest HardWear collection.
“I always want to be challenging the status quo. It’s who I am. I love to change. It’s pretentious to talk about how creative you are. I don’t feel that way at all. I think it’s empowering and important, and I’m coming for you.”
Adding to icon power, Vogue’s Grace Coddington took the helm as creative director of the commercial. While Tiffany HardWear won’t be available until late April, Lady Gaga is set to hit the stage on Sunday in what we can only imagine will be one amazing Super Bowl halftime performance.
