Stevie Nicks Records New Song for The Book of Henry

On the eve of the premiere of the new drama, “The Book of Henry,” Stevie Nicks released the song she recorded for the soundtrack. “Your Hand I Will Never Let It Go,” though not written by Nicks, has the familiar fairytale feel of her work. Ryan Miller and Thomas Bartlett wrote and produced the song while Nicks lent her vocals. The lyric video shares clips and drawings from the film.

The film starring Naomi Watts, Jaeden Lieberher, Jacob Tremblay, Maddie Ziegler, and Dean Norris, follows a young boy and his family living in a small suburban town. Henry Carpenter and his school boy crush on neighbor Christina Sickleman, throw him and his family into a world of pain and corruption. Christina and her step-father, Police Commissioner Glenn Sickleman, are hiding a dark secret. Wanting to protect his young love, Henry comes up with a plan to rescue her. He writes his grand scheme in a book that his mother discovers, and the family puts Henry’s plan in motion.

Stevie Nicks is continuing her 24 Karat Gold tour this year with stops in the UK, Minnesota, Kentucky, and Illinois. She will also be joining Fleetwood Mac for The Classic in Los Angeles and New York.

“The Book of Henry” will be in theaters everywhere June 16. “Your Hand I Will Never Let It Go” will be available on iTunes the same day.
