If you’re looking for a one stop festival for pop, alternative, indie, hip-hop, and every type of rock then Kaaboo is where you want to be. However, music isn’t the only entertainment lined up for the weekend. Each day of the three-day fall festival will feature top notch comedians like Arsenio Hall, Maria Bamford, and David Spade. All forms of artistic expression are offered to those who attend Kaaboo. Featured murals and installations, exhibit galleries, and exhibiting artists will be on-site to explore.
Kaaboo prides itself on being a different type of festival. The event is held at the Del Mar Fairgrounds and features indoor and outdoor activities. Making sure attendees are comfortable is key to Kaaboo’s success. Unlike most festivals, Kaaboo is an “anti-dirt” event. There’s no worrying about mud, dust, or the dreaded “coachella cough.” Seating areas and restaurants make it easy to kick back and fully enjoy the festival experience.
Let’s be real though, it’s the music people want to know about. This year’s headliners include the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pink, the Muse, and Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. Each day of the festival will expose you to all genres of music. From Kesha and T-Pain, to Jackson Browne and Smash Mouth. The blend of classic and modern is what has brought back audiences for the third time. The incredible food and spa treatments might have a hand in that as well. Red Hot Chili Peppers will be closing out the first night, followed by Pink and Muse on Saturday, and Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers the final night.
Kaaboo will be held at the Del Mar Fairgrounds, September 15-17. For ticket info and full festival line-up go to kaaboodelmar.com
